About

Our cabin is located in the heart of the Nantahala National Forest. We are within 15 miles from hiking, waterfalls, zip lining, tubing, white water activities, breweries, restaurants, shopping, multiple lakes and rivers, the Tail of the Dragon, Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, Appalachian Trail, gem mining and so much more. The Nantahala Outdoor Center and Deep Creek are just two of the places you can find adventures for everyone. Come enjoy the activities for every season or simply relax at the cabin for a quiet retreat get away.

Good to know

The cabin provides spaces large enough for everyone to enjoy time together and private spaces to get away for some personal time to recharge. With one bedroom on each level, a great room that offers the warmth of a fire with windows that bring the outside into the cozy cabin, and an extra tv/game room downstairs, there is something for everyone. After a busy day exploring the mountains, waterfalls, and surrounding cities the cabin in a great place to relax in the hot tub, enjoy a camp fire, or take in the spectacular views from one of the spacious decks. We must also mention the hidden overlook trail that is just over the bridge. It brings you even higher up the mountain for views that will cause you to seize the moment.

Private neighborhood perpendicular to the Little Tennessee River with spectacular views. The neighborhood provides a getaway from everything feel while being close to all the adventures and modern comforts.

Guest Access

The entire house is open for your enjoyment. This includes four bedrooms, three bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, two wrap around decks that cover two sides of the house, a private hot tub with guest towels, a gas grill located on the second level deck, a fire table on the top deck, a fire pit area with wood provided, and a laundry room.

Mike’s place is beautiful! Exactly as described. It was exactly what we wanted for a girls’ weekend for 8 women. Peaceful and lovely. It is very secluded and quite a ways from stores and restaurants, but that is what we wanted. If you desire a five minute drive to lots of activities this is not for you. But this is what we loved about the place. The view was beautiful and the bird songs were so lovely. A few close neighbors but we couldn’t hear anyone. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was great! Our large group spent a week here and we were all very comfortable, with ample space to gather together or relax in our own separate spaces. The house was very well-equipped with things like children’s books, fliers for nearby towns/hot spots, extra towels for the hot tub, a traditional fire pit and a fire table on the deck, and lots of board games. We enjoyed the home and many day trips to nearby attractions and restaurants. The folks in Franklin were very friendly and helpful. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the million-dollar view (for some folks who live where the earth is flat, it was absolutely stunning and pictures do not do it justice!). We’d love to stay here again, because we definitely want to come back!

Highly recommended cabin. In the middle of the Nantahala Forest and close to the Smoky Mountains. Bryson City and Franklin are close drives with amenities and restaurants. Cabin has lots of space and common areas. Nice hot tub and fireplace. You will enjoy the place, guaranteed.

This place was perfect for our family vacation. Enough room for everyone to spread out and have their own spaces, but big enough to hold everyone in the living room area as well. The location is perfect and central to all the surrounding attractions and events. Mike was great to deal with. He actually purchased the place after I had booked with previous owner. He was so helpful in us getting rebooked with him. I would 100% recommend this place, and our family will be back for sure. Thanks again Mike.
